Recently, I heard the terms
"The Voice of Guidance" and "The Voice of Re-runs". Both these terms caught my ear, but the
"Reruns" really has been repeating itself constantly with
me.
The more I think about "The Voice of Re-runs", how the Truth
shows through. This 'voice' is from the "human experience
intelligence or edging God out" Ego and is based on re-runs... past events. Its
premise is based on past experiences. And, unless we have done a
complete release through forgiveness and gratitude of those past events,
the fears... apprehensions... sadnesses... as well as any gains in
trust... happinesses... joys... a sum total of all our emotions will be
affecting any decisions made. And, do not fool yourself here, I have
a strong memory of a past moment when I thought 20 years experience in my
business field was enough to ignore going to "The Voice of
Guidance". The belief cost me everything material I had built
in my life to that moment. Bad choice...
"The Voice of Guidance" is the one we need to learn to receive
from... to trust in. This 'voice' is the Spirit within us that knows
all... that has no limitations... that has no emotional commitments...
that is always for an expansion rather than a depression of the SELF...
that will always guide us to our highest and greatest good.
Now that I am reminded, I must also take the action. I take that
action during my meditations. I sit down and write on a piece of
paper that which I am looking for guidance. Then, I take them into
meditation and observe. My answers with this technique seem to
always get a chalkboard affect in my head. Several lines of white
chalked words rush across the board too fast to read. If I leave
them alone without trying to slow them down to read, a line of words will
all of a sudden stop and I know them. (I share this technique in
case you need one to focus with) And, interestingly enough, those that
seem like the most illogical to me, always turn out to my highest and best
good when I implement them. So, I implement them regardless of
whether my 'human experience intelligence' ("the Voice of
Re-runs") finds them logical or not.
A note here: Something I have observed with myself. If I am
shown a direction by the "Voice of Guidance" and I do not
implement it, it seems as if the next time that I do the technique, it
takes longer to receive a direction. Maybe it is because if I do not
implement it, I may not be giving gratitude or release as I would
something I recognize and accept???... interesting. Do not get
this wrong. The "Voice of Guidance" always comes
through... it just appears to be delayed in the time element.
Anyway, you might take a moment and look at yourself. Which do
you rely on the most... the "Voice of Re-runs" or the
"Voice of Guidance"? And, what are your
results?
